Silencers

Drawing in or draining off gases, vapors or liquids generates considerable noise in pipes, ducts and wall openings. The main task of a silencer, therefore, is to cut this sound transmission without impacting on the media flow.

Silencers from G+H are extremely effective in preventing sound transmission in intake and exhaust systems, exhaust ducts and vent pipes – even when working with dusty media, high temperatures and extreme flow conditions. An interdisciplinary team of experienced engineers ensures this is the case by providing support throughout each project from planning, engineering and product development right through to construction, delivery and installation. For this purpose, they have access to an excellently equipped acoustics laboratory in the G+H development center. This is also where we confirm our latest research results with measurements from practical applications.
