Building and measuring rooms

  • The extent of foundation vibrations is often underestimated. Only when the building is complete are the effects fully recognizable in the form of vibration or structure-borne noise radiated from ceilings and walls.
  • Elastic building suspension is the ideal solution since it is practically impossible to prevent the propagation of disruptive vibrations in a building with a conventional foundation.
  • Measuring rooms (acoustic) and studios are suspended in what is known as room-in-room construction, separate from the rest of the building. This reliably prevents the propagation of disruptive vibrations and the intrusion of structure-borne noise.
